Luke celebrates Plymouth’s World Cup Bid

Plymouth has been chosen as one of the English cities that will form part of the nation’s World Cup bid for 2018 and 2022 it was announced this week. Although the results recently and news about Plymouth’s manager hasn’t been great the news that things might change over the horizon is to be welcomed. Plans for a new stadium look superb if they can be realised and being included in the World Cup bid gives Plymouth a recognition as a footballing city we have not had before. This is all good news – we now need to back Plymouth Argyle, help us get the best results out of the team for the rest of the season, and support England’s World Cup Bid. There was cross-party support for Plymouth’s World Cup Bid which is great to see. Come on Argyle!
