With a little under four months to go before the General Election I’m launching a fundraising campaign to help us buy the leaflets, envelopes, posters and stamps we are going to need for the General Election. Over the past two and a half years my campaign team and I have worked hard to campaign on local issues. Whether it was trying to stop the Tory Council in Plymouth selling our bus company, highlighting Conservative conflict of interests over the incinerator or more broken Tory promises over the missing Plymstock Pool each leaflet we have delivered has been paid for by donations and delivered by a volunteer.
We need £2,000 to fight the General Election and ensure that every voter in South West Devon gets a piece of election literature from Labour. We’ve been saving for the last year but we need your help to hit that target. Can you help spare a few pounds to help us buy leaflets and posters for the election. Each pound you donate will be spent on the election campaign and help volunteers like Betty, Brendan, Jon, Jenny and Helen get our message out to voters that South West Devon deserves and needs a full time campaigning MP.
Can you help? If you can spare any amount, no matter how small, please donate online.
£5 – pays for leaflets for two streets
£10 – pays for window Posters for 150 houses
£25 – Pay for 250 campaign balloons
£50 – pays for leaflets for twenty streets
£100 – pays for 2000 text messages
£250 – pays for phone calls to five streets of voters
£500 – pays for direct mail to 2000 voters
£2000 – well that would pay for the entire lot!
I want to thank everyone who has donated money, raffle prizes, made tea, delivered leaflets, phoned voters or helped on street stalls over the last two and a half years. We’ve delivered over 126,000 leaflets in that time. We have four months left to win more votes in SW Devon. Can you help with the last big push?
