Our campaign in the Ivybridge by-election continues. This weekend we’ve delivered over 1,000 leaflets to homes in Ivybridge asking voters to use their vote for Labour on 18 February. The ward is traditionally a quite Tory place but the Tories have let local people down. They didn’t tell local people about the incinerator despite knowing about it for 18 months and their councillor for Ivybridge refuses to come out and publicly attack the incinerator.
In the last week we’ve made nearly 100 calls to local people asking them for their views about the incinerator. If you’ve received a leaflet from us please do take a moment to return the tear off slip and send us your views about the incinerator.
