We have just over a month now to encourage as many people as possible to submit objections to Devon County Council opposing Viridor’s plans for an incinerator and landfill at New England Quarry.
On Saturday 13 March at 2.30pm CAVIL, the Campaign Against Viridor’s Incinerator and Landfill, has organised a special public meeting at Ivybridge Community College to rally the community against Viridor’s plans. We are hoping to get 400 people at the public meeting and ensure that as many people as possible submit objections to the Council.
I’ve been campaigning against the incinerator for six months now and I’m really pleased we now have other parties involved. The community is really coming together to oppose the incinerator. Can you help?
