Four ways to follow Luke on social media
I believe politicians need to be more open, transparent and accountable. That's one of the reasons why I am a big fan of using social media as part of my campaign. Social media is a good way of letting people see what I'm doing in real time, ask questions, watch videos, interact and share stories and pictures from my campaign.
Like my page on Facebook
I post regular updates on my Facebook page here. You can also like the Plymouth Labour page here.
Every Sunday at 7pm I have a weekly Facebook Live Q&A on my page. Ask my anything. I think this is a good way to encourage more openness and transparency in our politics. If elected on 8 June I will continue my weekly Facebook Q&A so you have a regular chance to ask me questions. All my Facebook Live Q&A videos are on my Facebook page to watch back.
Follow me on Twitter
You can follow me on Twitter here.
Twitter is a brilliant way of keeping track of what I'm up to. I tweet about what I am doing, the stuff I'm reading and things I'm generally interested in. I try to respond to all questions and tweets - sometimes by Direct Message - so make sure you're following me if you want to ask a question so I can DM back. If your question doesn't fit in 140 characters please email me luke@lukepollard.net
Follow me on Instagram
I post a picture from my campaign every day on Instagram. Like a picture or add a comment on any of the content.
Watch Plymouth Labour's videos on YouTube
I've been recording videos on YouTube for years. I think YouTube is a really good way of communicating what I am getting up to. You can watch the videos on the Plymouth Labour YouTube channel here. Remember to subscribe so you don't miss any new content.
