Luke Pollard MP

Labour & Co-operative MP for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport

General and Local Election Campaign Launch

Help the campaign make a flying start

On 7 May voters in Plymouth have a big choice: whether to elect a Labour MP who will scrap the Bedroom Tax and Tory privatisation of the NHS or re-elect a Tory MP who thought the Pasty Tax and giving millionaire's a huge tax cut would help Plymouth. It's also the day when voters decide whether to re-elect a Labour council that has created Plymouth Energy Committee, helped over 3,000 young people back into work and led the re-development of Bretonside and the Civic Centre or elect a Tory Party whose only priority is to keep Plymouth standing still.

People in this constituency need an MP who will put Plymouth first. I will put Plymouth first because this city is my home. It is where I was born and where I live.

The election launch is our big rally before the election campaign kicks off. Alison Seabeck MP, Cllr Chaz Singh, Cllr Tudor Evans and myself will be taking to the stage talking about Labour's plans for Plymouth.

Come join us, bring friends, bring supporters and those who are undecided. Let's start the campaign as we mean to go on - positive and relentlessly pro-Plymouth.

Please join me and support my campaign to become your MP this evening's Election Launch event.
