The BMA have produced this great little website reporting on the crisis in the NHS. What it shows for Plymouth is that the crisis is nearly "unmanageable".
The Tory plan to privatise and close NHS services is wrong. It puts patients at risk and it is putting profit before people.
Labour promised to stand up for the NHS in the last general election. I can remember my Tory opponent claiming, with a straight face time and time again, that the Tories were not privatising the NHS.
With doctors surgeries closing across Plymouth and more services being privatised, it is clear that patients are getting a raw deal. I want to see our local Tories to stop simply waving through more cuts and privatisation but to stand up for our local NHS, free at the point of use, owned by us not corporations.
