Luke Pollard

Labour & Cooperative MP for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport

Pledges

Luke was elected as the Member of Parliament for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport on 9 June 2017. During the campaign, Luke made 5 pledges to Plymouth which he is now working hard to deliver on.

Plymouth is my home. It was where I was born and where I live. I think it is time we had an MP who puts Plymouth above party. If elected on 8 June I'll fight every day to put Plymouth first and deliver for my home city.

Luke's Five Pledges

1. A good Brexit deal for Plymouth

I will fight for a deal to secure our jobs and rights and to protect our environment, fishermen and exporters.

2. Stand up for our armed forces

I will always support our Royal Navy and Royal Marines, back Trident, fight defence cuts and support our veterans.

3. Oppose Tory school cuts

I will call for properly funded schools. I want teachers to have the resources to help Plymouth's children succeed.

4. Protect our hospitals and the NHS

I will oppose Tory cuts and NHS privatisation. We need to invest in our NHS and train more doctors and nurses.

5. Always put Plymouth first

I will put Plymouth before party each and every time. It is time we had an MP who always puts Plymouth first.
