Luke Pollard MP has announced an update on his campaign to keep Plymouth’s Barden factory open.

Luke Pollard MP said:

 

“I am pleased that the cross-party pressure on the German owners of Barden is beginning to pay off. This has been a campaign where Plymouth’s MPs are working together and I know that effort will continue until we get the result we are looking for. I’ve raised concerns about Barden’s closure directly with Ministers and in the House of Commons and I pledge to continue to keep pressure on Schaefller until they make the right decision and keep Barden open.”
