Luke's new billboards go up across Plymouth

Thank you to everyone who has donated to my campaign we've been able to afford billboards introducing me with a clear positive message: I'm from Plymouth and I'll work for Plymouth.

At the last General Election the Conservatives covered the city in billboards. I'm really pleased that Labour is first out this year with election billboards. Thanks to people donating to the party we have been able to afford a couple of billboards across the city.

Only positive billboards

I don't like negative politics. I think it turns people off. That's why my billboards are positive with a clear message: I will put Plymouth first because this city is my home. It is where I was born and where I live.

Ed Miliband has made the pledge that all our billboards in this General Election will be positive. We won't be putting up negative attack ads. I hope the Tories do the same but from the look of their very negative adverts they're placing online they don't seem to understand that the public have grown tired of politicians engaging in petty playground politics. It is time for something better.
