Follow Luke on social media
Four ways to follow Luke on social media
I believe politicians need to be more open, transparent and accountable. That’s one of the reasons why I am a big fan of using social media as part of my campaign. Social media is a good way of letting people see what I’m doing in real time, ask questions, watch videos, interact and share stories and pictures from my work in Parliament.
Like my page on Facebook
I post regular updates on my Facebook page here.
Every Wednesday at 7.30pm I have a weekly Facebook Live Q&A on my page. Ask me anything. I think this is a good way to encourage more openness and transparency in our politics.
Follow me on Twitter
Twitter is a brilliant way of keeping track of what I’m up to. I tweet about what I am doing, the stuff I’m reading and things I’m generally interested in. I try to respond to all questions and tweets – sometimes by Direct Message – so make sure you’re following me if you want to ask a question so I can DM back. If your question doesn’t fit in 140 characters please email me firstname.lastname@example.org
Follow me on Instagram
I also post pictures on Instagram. Follow me on Instagram for a more personal take on my role as your MP and catch up on my latest videos and photos. You can also follow what I am doing on my Instagram stories
Watch my Parliamentary videos on YouTube
I’ve been recording videos on YouTube for years. I think YouTube is a really good way of communicating what I am getting up to. You can watch my videos in Parliament since I was elected here. Remember to subscribe so you don’t miss any new content.
