To mark a year since his election in June 2017, Luke Pollard MP for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport has published the second set of bi-annual Parliamentary performance stats.

The one year benchmark statistics show that between 8 June 2017 and 8 June 2018 Luke has spoken 94 times in Parliamentary debates this year, he has mentioned Plymouth 60 times over the year, he has tabled 184 written questions and voted in 85.98% of votes.

Luke Pollard MP said:

“I’m proud to release my second series of performance stats today. When I was elected I said I want to do politics differently – that means being open, transparent and more accountable as Plymouth’s Member of Parliament. I know people want their MPs to champion their local area and I want people to see what I’m up to when I’m away campaigning in Parliament.”

“Plymouth has been ignored by Westminster for a long time. We suffer poor connectivity and a lack of attention and proper, long term funding from Government – only last month the Transport Secretary labelled our region as the ‘extremities’. That I why I believe we will never get the good deal it deserves by chance or by accident.  We will never get our fair share of money, time and attention from Westminster compared with other parts of the country if we stay quiet. I am determined to play a role in securing this through my work in Parliament and that’s why I published these stats today.”
