• Luke speaks up about the ban on polluting fules for at home burning
  • A call to be more radical with bans that are polluting the enviorment
  • Luke wants the air quality to be improved for the enviorment, and future genrerations

As the Shadow Enviormental Secretary, Luke is very passionate about the enviorment. So he was very happy to hear that this ban was announced, because we must save the enviorment for thefuture. Also, this ban may sacre a few individuials but this ban shouldn’t. There are a lot of clean alternatives that people can use in there home open fire ovens such as dry wood, or wood briquettes. Luke feels that we all need to come together to help protect the enviorment, and this is a step in the right direction.

Luke said:

“The government have been forced to take this long overdue action only after losing a litany of court cases. And they’re still refusing to do their bit to protect children’s health by tackling air pollution and the climate crisis – as the decision to extend open cast coal mining shows. People across the country are willing to do their bit to improve air quality and improve emissions. Now Ministers must get rid of coal in our energy supply and bring forward the ban on petrol and diesel engines.”
