Luke has today condemned the actions taken by vandals after reports emerged that people had had destroyed ornaments, written thoughts and prayer and flowers on the baby graves in Ford Park Cemetery over the weekend.

Locals branded this a “completely thoughtless and shameful act”. Luke agreed, saying:

“It takes a disgusting and desperate person to vandalise the graves of dead babies. My thoughts are with those who have to go through distress as a result of these callous actions. If you know who did this please call @CrimestoppersUK on 0800555111.”
