Luke Pollard MP today spoke out in response to a Daily Mirror exclusive feature on ‘sick’ trophy hunting website BookYourHunt.

The website advertises a list of package holidays for hunting enthusiasts to choose from. Every one is legal because they target animals not deemed sufficiently at risk of extinction to be covered by the new Government hunting laws. These animals include reindeer, striped hyenas, jackals, big cats and even sheep.

Luke Pollard MP said:

“We need to change the law to ensure all animals are protected. We need a blanket ban on trophy hunting, and we need to consign disgusting websites like this one to history.”

In a post on his Facebook page, Luke agreed wholehearted with comments made by Sir Ranulph Fiennes. Mr Fiennes stated:

“This is the most hideous website I have ever heard of. It’s advertising animals like you’re doing a weekly shop, except the photos show bloodthirsty psychopaths grinning moronically over dead animals they’ve killed for fun.”
