Ways to get in touch with Luke

Luke’s latest parliamentary costs, including February and March 2021, are now available to view through IPSA’s website.

The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) are responsible for the regulation and payment of office costs to Members of the House of Commons. As a Member of Parliament, Luke receives office costs to cover the costs of running an office, employing staff, having somewhere to live in London, and travelling between Plymouth and Parliament.

Luke’s latest costs can be seen here.

Luke Pollard MP said:

“Being an MP is a real privilege and I try to make sure that I am doing politics differently. I am the first Plymouth MP to ever have an office in the city centre. Unlike Plymouth’s Conservative MPs I do not employ my wife or any other family member. All permanent roles are fully advertised. I try to be an MP rooted in the community where I live and where I represent.

The majority of the office costs employ my brilliant team who work so hard to support the people I represent. We have bought IT and other equipment to assist with working from home during the pandemic. All my office costs are available online and able to be scrutinised.”

More information on the types of expenditure incurred by Luke during the COVID-19 pandemic is available here. Further information on Luke’s costs is available through IPSA.
