The COP26 climate conference is still ongoing in Glasgow, it’s our last best chance of keeping global temperature rises below 1.5 degrees. Luke is at the conference over the weekend speaking to leaders and climate activists about the importance of taking immediate actions to reduce carbon emissions and protect the environment.

In a video Luke talked about the governments current actions on addressing the problem:

“What we’ve seen from the Government has just not been good enough. It was only two weeks ago that they voted down an amendment that would’ve banned the dumping of raw sewage into our rivers, and in last week’s budget the Chancellor cut tax on domestic short-haul flights.

“We need to keep fighting for bolder and more urgent action, not just to cut carbon emissions, but to protect biodiversity and nature as well”
