Plans have been unveiled for the West End Health and Wellbeing Centre near Collin Campbell Court. Plymouth City Council and NHS Devon have announced the plans and are looking for consultation from the public on the facility (Check the link below). The site will include facilities and staff for a range of medical services: mental health, dental, and GP appointments. In addition to the medical services, the hope is that these investments will go towards revitalizing the surrounding community, improving the standard of living and generating economic growth.

In a recent statement Luke talked about the benefits of the facility and his role in advocating for it:

‘I think it’s a great initiative because it would bring vital health services like GPs and dental practice right into the heart of our city on the high street, and I’ve been promoting the idea for a number of years in Parliament.’
