Late applications to the EUSS are still open
Late applications to the EUSS are still open

Those who wish to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) are still able to submit a late application (as long as they have reasonable grounds for doing so).

Late applications can be submitted here. More information for late applicants is available here.

An application must be made for every eligible child within a family. Parents must check if they need to apply on behalf of their children, including children born or adopted since 1 January 2021, even if the parents have already applied and been granted status themselves. Click here for more information.

The following support is available to applicants:

  • Organisations across the UK have been funded to help vulnerable applicants. A list of these organisations can be found here.
  • The Settlement Resolution Centre also provides applicant support seven days a week online (click here) and by telephone on 0300 123 7379
  • The ID scanning service can help applicants complete the ID verification step of the application. Click here.
  • Assisted Digital can provide support with the digital application process. Click here or telephone 03333 445 675

Eligible close family members living overseas as of 31 December 2020 can apply to join an EU, EEA or Swiss family member who started living in the UK by this date. Click here for more information.

More information for those who have a pending application, or who have EUSS status, is available here.
