Luke Pollard MP Labour & Co-op Member of Parliament for Plymouth Sutton & Devonport
Today, Luke used a speech in Parliament to urge the government to fix its “shameful” record on food poverty.
With the cost-of-living crisis raging, there are now more food banks than branches of McDonald’s in Britain.
Luke said:
“It’s shameful that we live in a country where not everyone can afford to feed themselves, heat themselves and put a roof over their head.
“The government must get a grip before more families slip into hunger and poverty.”
