Luke Pollard MP Member of Parliament for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport

A humbling experience to attend the march in Plymouth today to remember and celebrate the life of Bobbi-Anne McLeod.
Misogynistic violence is on the rise across the country and, as we’ve seen on too many tragic occasions, Plymouth is no exception to that. 144 women were murdered by men last year including three in our city.
Progress is being made thanks to the incredibly hard work of individuals, groups and organisations right across our city and our country, but we still have a long way to go.
