I strongly oppose the closure of #Plymouth Station’s ticket office. We know that the government’s closure plan will make it harder to disabled, elderly and vulnerable passengers to use the railway.
We now know this will also see huge cuts in staff too. Leaked figures shared with me show that GWR plans to cut 17.5 full time roles from their current 42.5 staff based at Plymouth Station – a massive 42% cut in staff.
This is bad for passengers and bad for Plymouth. Please join me in submitting your views, so we can show the government our strength of feeling against their closure plans.
