Hello Plymouth – starting this summer, I will be regularly changing the cover photo on my social channels each season to showcase the best of our city. This summer’s first winning picture is an incredible aerial shot of Plymouth, sent in by John Allan (Dartmoor Gliding).

The photo was taken 4,400ft above sea level while John was flying in his glider earlier this summer. John is part of the Dartmoor Gliding Society which is a small community club based at Brentor, near Tavistock.
