I was glad to meet with Stavros and the Marine Transportation team based at the University of Plymouth, to learn about their innovative research into Green Shipping Lanes.

The maritime sector is vital to Plymouth, and it was great to explore how the UK can grow this sector and create more jobs for our city.

It was also fantastic to see the newly transformed Fitzroy building, that has seen a £14.5 million investment, as part of the university’s decade-long modernisation plan.
