It’s excellent that community groups in Plymouth have received extra funding to make our city safer for women and girls.

Nine Plymouth-based groups have received up to £5,000 in funding thanks to a partnership with Plymouth City Council, Devon Community Foundation and the Sedel-Collings Foundation.

The money will go towards community programmes, including support for children affected by domestic abuse and distributing anti-spiking caps to young adults.
