18 March 2020 – Hello #Plymouth – it’s my regular #askluke Facebook live. I’ve just been in the House of Commons and heard the Education Secretary say schools, nurseries, colleges and sixth forms will close on Friday. Provision will be kept open for children of key workers and vulnerable children. Those kids on free school meals will also get vouchers so they can continue to get free school meals. I wanted to update you as soon as I heard. As usual, ask me anything about the virus or any other issue.

6 January 2020 – Hello #Plymouth – it’s time for my first #askluke Facebook live of 2020. Today there were lots of votes in the Commons so my regular #askluke is a little later than usual. Lots going on from promotions to Brexit, new statues in Plymouth to the climate emergency – and I have just been offered a promotion within the Labour team to Shadow Environment Secretary! I was delighted to accept and I am looking forward to stepping up Labour’s fight to tackle the Climate Emergency, support our local farmers and fishers and push for measures to improve food security for everyone. As always, ask me anything.
