This week marks one year since the launch of Call4Fish.

At the start of the pandemic, the price of fish feel through the floor, resulting in many fishers struggling to sell their catch and facing the possibility of going out of business.

Backed by Plymouth City Council, Call4Fish offered a way to sell fish directly to customers and, in doing so, helped the fishing industry through this difficult time. It is a fantastic company that started in Plymouth and has since spread worldwide.

Such was the company’s impact that it even inspired Plymouth Council Leader Tudor Evans to start his own cooking show, showing what delicious meals can be made with the fish.
