Luke Pollard MP Labour & Co-op Member of Parliament for Plymouth Sutton & Devonport
It’s fantastic news that the Millennium building on Union Street has received over £250,000 for its redevelopment.
The £250,000 grant is from Historic England’s Heritage at Risk Fund, which is funded by the government.
Nudge Community Builders are doing a superb job transforming Union Street and this funding is another step forward for them. Nudge have some really exciting plans to turn the space into a bespoke music and cultural venue, which will be a real boost to our local economy.
Each year I publish my ‘Plymouth Buildings at Risk List’ and I’m delighted that this funding will help give another iconic building in our city a new lease of life.
