  • Luke accompanied Dr Rosena Allin-Khan on her journey to Plymouth

Dr Rosena Allin-Khan, who is the running to become Deputy Leader for the Labour party came to Plymouth to visit it’s people and talk about why she wants to become the next Deputy Leader. Luke and her made the journey from London to Plymouth on Feb 6th, 2020 to talk to the Labour party members of Plymouth. Luke has extended an invite to all Labour party members that are running for a leadership position to come and visit Plymouth.

Luke has extended this invite to all the individuals in the running for future leadership positions, because he wants the future leaders of the party to understand the issues that the people of Plymouth go through. If people in leadership understand what is happening not only in Plymouth, but all places around the country and especially the south east of England. Then the Labour part will have a better future of winning more seats in the next election.

Dr Rosena Allin-Khan said:

“Had a fantastic night in Plymouth meeting members and visiting the local hospital with Luke Pollard.”

Luke Pollard said:

“It’s so important for Labour leadership and deputy leadership candidates visit Plymouth. It is key for Labour to win more seats in the South West if we are to get back into government. I’d like to thank Dr Rosena for taking the time to talk to Labour members in Plymouth.”
