This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Plymouth Blitz, a series of bombing raids that destroyed much of Plymouth and tragically killed over 1000 people.

To mark the anniversary, Luke is helping to organise an events programme with organisations across the city. Information on the programme can be found here.

It is vital that Plymouth remembers the terrible events of the Blitz and those who lost their lives during it, including civilians, police and firemen and women. As part of the remembrance, Luke lay a wreath at the memorial in honour of those who lost their lives.
