Luke Pollard MP Labour & Co-op Member of Parliament for Plymouth Sutton & Devonport
Plymouth swimming star Reece Dunn won a silver medal in the Men’s S14 100m Butterfly final at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
The Plymouth Leander world-record holder powered his way into the final, qualifying quickest from the morning’s heats in 55.99 – in what was a new Paralympic record.
The 25-year-old has risen rapidly from someone who used to train part time and work for his dad’s carpet fitting company, to one of the fastest para swimmers in the world.
Plymouth Sutton and Devonport MP Luke Pollard said:
“Huge congratulations to Reece for this fantastic achievement! You’ve done our country and our city proud”
