  • Luke thanks Plymouth Gin for their efforts in making hand sanitiser
  • Plymouth Gin are making 20,000 litres of the gel to support the COVID-19 effort
  • Companies right across Plymouth are stepping up to help

Luke has today thanked companies right across Plymouth as they step up to help in the fight against Coronavirus. Many firms are going the extra mile, including Plymouth Gin’s contribution. They’re stepping up to make hand sanitiser to help Plymouth City Council and St Luke’s Hospice, amongst others, making 20,000 litres of hand sanitiser that will help protect people locally.

Luke had this to say:

“Through good times and bad Plymouth Gin have stood by Plymouth and by re-purposing the distillery to make hand sanitiser, they will be saving lives. I’m proud of the team at Plymouth Gin and Pernod Ricard UK for stepping up when we need businesses to help.”
Don’t worry – they’re still making the best gin in the world but they’re also contributing hugely to the fight against the virus.
