The Tories have shamefully withdrawn £41m they promised us to build a Super Health Hub in Colin Campbell Court, even though demolition had already begun. Today I urged the Health Secretary to return the money to our city.

Plymouth desperately needs this funding, which would bring new GPs, dentists and specialists. Crucially, a Super Health Hub would reduce the pressure on Derriford, where services are overstretched and almost always more expensive for the taxpayer.

I’ll keep fighting until Plymouth gets its fair share of health funding.
