Luke Pollard MP Member of Parliament for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport
People in Stoke Village will be able to post parcels and letters with the opening of a new shop. Mail2Send based on Devonport Road has been opened by local businessman Dan Russell giving local people a chance to buy stamps and send parcels locally. Stoke village’s post office shut last year and the area has been without over the counter postal services since.
Luke helped officially open the new shop in a socially distant way on Saturday 13 June 2020.
“Since the Post Office closed in Stoke Village we have missed the ability to send parcels in our community without going into town. Well done to Dan and his team for opening this new venture. I was pleased to officially open it and I wish the business the best of luck. Please do pop by and say hello.”
Two people at a time are able to post parcels from the shop following social distance guidelines.
