Sainsbury’s at Marsh Mills has made a donation of £700 to local food group, Provide Devon, to help support their work after a recommendation from Luke.

Luke met with store manager Louise Adamson to hear about the store’s work over COVID and how they’re coping with social distancing in the build up to Christmas.

Luke said:

“I’m very grateful to Sainsbury’s at Marsh Mills for making this donation to Provide Devon. I’m a big fan of their work helping support people in food poverty in our city. For a small group this donation will go a long way.

 

Louise and her team are doing their best to help people shop safely and in a COVID-secure way. Retail workers are finally getting the recognition they deserve as key workers. I want to thank them for all staff working in retail for their efforts throughout this difficult year.”
