What does the new year have in store? Join Luke and a panel of top Plymothians as they discuss 2021. The live-streamed event is being held on Tuesday 5 January 2021 at 7.30pm.

Luke aims to tackle the following topics (and more):

  • What will happen next on the virus?
  • How will Plymouth’s economy be affected by Brexit and the jobs crisis?
  • How can we accelerate our decarbonisation efforts in 2021?
  • How can we protect our oceans better?
  • Is 2021 the year that young people are finally listened to by Government?

The event will be a Zoom panel discussion which you can register for here https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZIoduutpj4rGNLFqXYQo3sdhqY58W5zy2dK and it will also be live streamed on Luke’s Facebook page.

Luke is thrilled to be joined by Roger Maslin (CEO of the National Marine Aquarium), Jackie Young (Urban Agenda), Gareth Derrick (Plymouth City Councillor), Ruth Sayers (Devonport Work Club) and Tia Carmichael (Plymouth Youth Parliament).

What question about 2021 would you like the panel to answer? Let them know your thoughts and questions on the year ahead by joining the discussion on Zoom or Facebook!

Very few people could have predicted what 2020 was going to do to us all. But can we do better in 2021? I have brought together some of Plymouth’s best and brightest minds to answer some of the big questions about the coming year from our economy and the virus, to carbon emissions and the health of our oceans. Please join us as we look into our crystal balls at the coming year.
