The Prime Minister has just announced that he has agreed a deal with the European Union on Britain’s future relationship with the EU.
When I was elected in 2017 I said I would hold a public meeting for people to share their views with me ahead of me voting on any Brexit deal. The virus means we cannot hold public meetings as I held in recent years so I am inviting you to join me for a Zoom meeting on Brexit on Tuesday 29 December at 6pm. I will also stream this public meeting to my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/lukepollard as there is a limit on Zoom attendees.
The vote on the deal looks like being scheduled for Wednesday 30 December in the House of Commons. As London is in Tier 4 many MPs will be casting their votes remotely. Before I do this, I want to hear your views to inform my decision on how to vote.
That is why I want to hear your views before I decide how I will be voting.
Please join me on Zoom on December 29th at 6pm. You can register here.
