Luke Pollard MP Labour & Co-op Member of Parliament for Plymouth Sutton & Devonport
The G7 – a meeting of the world’s most powerful leaders – is being held in Cornwall in 2021.
The meeting will take place in Carbis Bay in June and will last for three days. It will see leaders from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States and others visit Cornwall, and hopes to leave a lasting social and economic legacy on the area.
Luke Pollard appeared on ‘Sunday Politics Southwest’ on 17 January, where he discussed how the G7 can boost the South West, and what the Conservative Government must do to ensure that the event runs safely and smoothly.
