Last week, Luke visited the vaccination centre at Plymouth Cricket Club. This is a local pharmacy-led centre at the very heart of the city, offering approximately one thousand vaccinations per week.

There are multiple locations across Plymouth helping to vaccinate local people, including the mass vaccination centre at Home Park.

“Thank you to the pharmacy staff who have done such a great job in vaccinating people, and to the team of 30 volunteers from Plymouth Cricket Club and Mount Wise community who are helping at the vaccine centre. This has really shown Plymouth at our very best.

 

“I want to encourage everyone to come forward for their vaccine when they are invited to. There is help available if you need assistance getting to one of the vaccine hubs and everyone at the centres are very helpful.”
