Fantastic idea from the Uniform Store on New George Street, who are providing a space for parents to donate and collect school uniforms before classrooms open again after summer. It was great to visit them today, on their opening day.

With bills rocketing and the government missing-in-action, more working families in Plymouth are struggling to make ends meet. The cost of school uniforms can quickly rack up, so please do consider donating if you can.

For those looking to donate or collect school uniform, the team is around on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 3pm. They can be found between Tescos and MenKind on New George Street, and they’re catering for all schools in Plymouth.
