Back in 2021, I invited people across Plymouth to collaborate on a Covid Memorial Quilt as an opportunity to share, connect and preserve the community’s experiences of Covid and lockdown.

There were dozens of brilliant entries and the Covid Memorial Quilt provides a poignant reminder of those we lost during the pandemic as well as the key workers who kept our city running.

I’m incredibly proud of Plymouth and the fantastic community we have and want to thank those who sent in their squares as part of this project.

If you would like to display the Covid Memorial Quilt at your school, business or organisation please get in touch. It is so important for us all to continue to remember those we lost and to celebrate those key workers, neighbours, friends and strangers who stepped up to help us in our moment of need.
