Veterans' Voice listening campaign
Today Labour brought its Veterans’ Voice listening campaign to Plymouth.

The Conservatives like to talk up their support for our forces, but it’s clear that they are failing our veterans in Plymouth and across the country. For example, just 7% of veterans in the Plymouth have received the Government ID cards designed to help provide them speedy access to health, housing and charity services.

That’s why Labour launched its Veterans’ Voice listening campaign to hear directly from former personnel and their families and is committed to putting veterans’ lived experiences at the heart of our future plans.

Our fantastic new candidate for Plymouth Moor View, Fred Thomas, and Labour’s Shadow Veterans Minister, Rachel Hopkins, led a very thoughtful and insightful discussion on the local issues facing our veterans. Thank you to all those who came for their positive contributions and a big thanks to the Royal British Legion for hosting us today.
