Every week I am contacted by parents and professionals with their concerns about the education sector, and so I am pleased to hear OFSTED have launched the Big Listen, and are asking for views right across their work, from schools and children’s social care to teacher training and early years.

The Big Listen is two online consultations, one of which is specifically aimed at children, including those in the care system. OFSTED are asking parents, children and professionals to provide them with feedback on the different areas of their work across education and social care that matter most to them.

In addition to gathering views through the online consultations, two independent organisations will carry out surveys and focus groups with parent and professionals, and OFSTED staff will listen to views at a variety of events and engagements.
